Albizia julibrissin grows as a deciduous shrub or tree. Under ideal circumstances, the tree reaches a

The silk tree is short-lived and rarely live more than thirty years. The canopy is curved wide expansive and flat.
The change-constant and stalked leaves are 20 to 30 cm long and doubly pinnate with 4 to 15 pairs more
or less sessile leaflets first order. The first-order pinnae each have 10 to 30 leaflets couple
second-order, having a length of 7 to 15 cm. The underside of the crescent and 5 to 18 mm long and about
3 to 7 mm broad leaflets is hairy along the midrib. The stipules are 7 to 8 mm long.
